The Dharavi Redevelopment Project (DRP), led by Adani Properties, is making significant strides in transforming one of the world's most densely populated areas. The surveying process is extensive, with around 50 teams working daily to assess approximately 300-400 homes and verify 200-250 tenements each day.   • Tenement Numbering: Unique codes are assigned to properties for easy identification.
  • Door-to-Door Verification: Detailed resident data is collected to determine eligibility for rehabilitation.

This initiative builds on a previous survey conducted over 16 years ago, which identified 64,000 eligible ground-floor tenements. A fresh reassessment began in March 2024 to account for demographic and structural changes in the area.
