Data Deletion

1. Your right to deletion
TheRealConnect, operated by Mumbai Property Exchange (MahaRERA A51800043517), Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, lets you request deletion of the personal data we hold about you, including data processed through Meta's WhatsApp Business API. This page explains exactly how to request deletion, what is removed, and how long it takes. It supplements Section 2A and Section 7 of our Privacy Policy.
2. How to request deletion
Choose whichever applies to you. All options are free of charge.
2.1 Platform users (builders/developers and their staff)
- Email grievance@therealconnect.in with the subject line "Data deletion request", from your registered email address, stating your registered name, company, and account phone number; or
- Message us on WhatsApp at +91 98200 76730 from your registered number with the words "Delete my data".
2.2 Channel partners (real estate agents)
- Reply STOP to any message you receive via the Platform, or use our opt-out page — this stops all communications immediately, platform-wide, across every developer account; or
- Email grievance@therealconnect.in (subject "Erase my record") or WhatsApp +91 98200 76730 to request full erasure of your record.
Fastest route: email grievance@therealconnect.in with subject "Data deletion request". We acknowledge within 48 hours and complete deletion within 30 days.
3. What we delete

4. WhatsApp / Meta data
When you use our WhatsApp campaign features, message content and delivery status are processed through Meta's WhatsApp Business API. On a deletion request we remove the WhatsApp message logs and contact data held in our systems. Data held independently by Meta Platforms is governed by Meta's WhatsApp Business policies and Meta's own retention; we will, on request, also action removal of access tokens and webhook subscriptions linked to your WhatsApp Business Account.
5. What we may retain (and why)

Where retention is legally required we delete everything else and keep only the minimum above.
6. Confirmation
When deletion is complete we email a confirmation to the address you contacted us from. If you do not receive acknowledgement within 48 hours, please re-send your request or contact our Grievance Officer below.

We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within 30 days, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
